S23 Ultra constantly trying to connect to Smart TV

My GS23 Ultra constantly tries to connect to Samsung Smart TVs. It happens at home and when I go somewhere with Samsung TVs.

Was at a bar last week with a wall of TVs and they kept getting a popup asking if they want to allow the connection.

If I turn my bluetooth off (which was samsung's suggestion) it stops. But why should I have to turn BT on and off when i want to use it?

It's a setting in smart things or wifi , it will say (detect Samsung devices on the same network. Uncheck it)

thanks for the suggestion. I can't find this setting thought. I will keep looking.

Hello DC100, Welcome to the Community. We understand how frustrating it can be to receive these multiple notifications.

Try going to SmartThings.

Select Settings in the top corner.

Scroll down and toggle off the option to Ask to add new devices.

Thanks...I saw that option and turned it off already. If the issue does not continue to occur I will return and advise.

I think its in smart things Saya automatically ask to connect to smart device

I want my S23 Ultra to received audio from my AU8000. But the AU8000 says S23 Ultra not supported??

If it makes you feel better, my S23 Ultra keeps trying to connect to my AU8000 as well. Have gone through every possible setting on both devices to no avail.

This problem sucks and I hope Samsung finds a solution for it soon, otherwise this phone .ay be my last samsung purchase.

I have the same issue. I'm not yet ready to send in logs, however, I have narrowed the issue down to something to do with the Facebook app.

I also have an AU8000 Smart TV and after going through all the other settings the only time it happens now is when I launch Facebook.

It's still a pain as if I leave Facebook running while watching TV, it periodically throws up the message and I can't find a setting in Facebook to stop it.
