Still struggling with service provider [Liberty PR] for either lack of expertise on the technical side or who knows what.
My S23, after aledgedly having gone through completed migration, back in April 2024, was left behind hooked as an AT&T unit and unable to update software. Still running Android 14 / UI 6, and unresponsive to 'software update '. Is there a Master out there that could provide WISDOM? Thanks

I would suggest contacting the Puerto Rico support Community. Locate Puerto Rico in the list and click on the community.
https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite/

It is uncalled for that you use insults in response. This is a user-to-user support forum, Samsung support technicians are not likely to see your post.

Have you specifically asked to speak with a technical service rep? The ones in the stores are salespeople with little to no technical knowledge.

As @GaryB82 mentioned, your best bet for community help would be in the Puerto Rico community. There may be others who have had similar experiences.

Tech rep switched from SIM to eSIM, still sticked to AT&T, conflicting with web documentation stating this step as one of ways to switch 'service provider '...makes me think there's got to be a misconfigured parameter

I'm having a very similar issue with my S23 FE. Its originally from Metro by T-Mobile (TMK) but it is also in fact carrier UNLOCKED because I can put any other carrier like Visible by Verizon, which I am using now, and it works fine. However I'm still stuck on One UI 6.1 Android 14. I even got a new Metro by T-Mobile account and activated on my phone via eSIM and I still got nothing. The model I have is the SM-S711U/DS which is a dual SIM and it's made to be switched between carriers. I don't have a PC otherwise I would have tried the Smart Switch method but I have a friend that I think will let me use their PC.
