Apparently after the newest update (Jan 2026) notification sounds were changed and now I no longer have the option to change individual app sounds. My camera system app is changed to a very high pitch annoying sound I can not stand and can not change. Can someone please tell me where the setting is to change this back. And for the record, the sound it is using isn't even a sound that can be chosen from the phone options for any other sound. Tell me how that works?

Go to settings/notifications/advanced settings and make sure manage notification categries for each app. Return to your app notification settings, tap on notifications/notification categories and select the categoies for which you want notifications and assign a sound. Also, wipe the phone's cache partition, as you should after every update.
