A lot of problems after update.

Ok so i am a bit late with my updates but that is because i am alway a bit afraid. Yesterday i did update 16 and ui8 on my s23 ultra phone and my nightmare is there. Navigation bar is gone and wathever I do not comming back. Onley the backbutton is there but my game will not go back. There is no more home button. So every time playing a game and want to do something else i have to force a shutdown. On the internet i have to go back and back and back on all the pages before it will close. So to be simple, i can not do much anymore with the phone. Also when it starts up the phone , everytime it will send me to the security page and say i have to do boimetric. Please samsung let me know when this will be fixed or can i just trough my phone in the bin?

This update is awful. Its not an update. Its like going back to when smartphones first came out. Right now im just aggravated with trying to customize faces. Its awful. I have no idea why they did this downgrade but im seriously thinking on not updating my watch and looking into a different brand. I loved Samsung and Wear. You were able to really customize it. Not anymore. Its awful. Especially if you used the Facer app. Total waste and I have the bezel and lived having the round watch. All these updates are oval. I haven't begun to find out what else has changed. I can only imagine.

Did you clear the cache partition after your update? That usually solves a good number of issues. If that doesn't work, a small percentage of users may have to do a factory reset and restore their backup.

Morning, yes i did do that. It did not help. To do a factory reset it will loose all my files. I can not make a backup. That ia also one of the lags. Some things i click it will not responde. Also make a backup does nothing.

Why cant you make a back up? Your phone should be backing up automatically, and you can back up manually at any time. If you don't have a flash drive, you can use Samsung's temporary cloud storage with Smart Switch. If you don't want to reset, you will have to live with the issues. You can back up your entire phone or just your personal files, which you should have been doing anyway.

yeah - I hate the new oval look. such a waste of real estate on the watch. Should have that as an option.

Join the club, I hate my phone. The design is such a nightmare. It's like I don't even bother with my phone. Anymore I'm barely. I barely even know where it is half the time. Yeah, I don't even answer the phone or messages or anything. Because I hate to even look at it boxes everywhere. Who in the **bleep** thought it was a good idea to put boxes? Everywhere, wedges, boxes, all these pill boxes on the notification bar. Then, you got the actual messages coming in the notifications in the little pill boxes, and all of that can't even transparency.And just gotta look at these boxes that were not there.When you bought your device, it makes me angry when I look at my phone

I've had nothing but major problems everytime there's an UPDATE on my S23. Now, my apps give me messages that they are having trouble connecting! I've tried all suggestions except reloading each one. Are they kidding even suggesting that?

This has become a catastrophic disaster as this GALAXY PROBLEM is ongoing since I bought this phone nearly three years ago.

GALAXY- STOP ALL UPDATES UNTIL YOU GET YOUR PROGRAMMING CORRECT!

Otherwise, they should be renamed DOWNDATES because they don't work. I'm so frustrated and tired of all the issues with GALAXY and SAMSUNG that I'm giving one more chance before I switch to IPHONE.
