Finally doesn't say November anymore!

Now on January! I wonder what got turned on!

S23 FE still on January security patch, I wonder if WCP will be removed on the February Patch like most other devices have been.

I got updated, but only to January. It seems things are still a bit whacked. Hopefully, it gets straightened out once the 8.5 rollout starts. Until the next time they restart the shenanigans....

I had two updates yesterday that were both January. There's a small one available now (1.4MB), but it keeps failing. Brilliant.

EDIT: It finally went though. Still January, though.

Also received February 1, 2026 update on my unlocked S23U (backup phone). Still uses AT&T for updates.

I just wish they would address the issue, but here we are. Samsung as a corporateion doesn't feel the need to explain themselves, except when they had to explain the 8/10 bit display issue. Where they clearly left out the detail in their sit-down with TechTubers that the display wasn't really a 10 bit display, it's done with software to look like a 10 bit display.

This is their M.O. Keep everyone in the dark unless they're forced to address an issue. Isn't it great? People don't have to think for themselves! 😂

I updated last night and I'm still in November.

My kid updated his is on January.
