Hello jamesjom,

Thanks for reaching out for assistance. I understand how frustrating this can be when trying to record a great video.

First and foremost, have you made sure your S23 Ultra is up-to-date with the latest software version? This includes making sure the Camera app is up-to-date as well.

For confirmation, are you only experiencing the video stuttering with just the stock Camera app or are you also experiencing this with any third-party apps?

Wipe Cache Partition:

1. Connect to PC: Connect your S23 Ultra to a computer (or another Android phone) using a USB-C cable.
2. Power Off: Turn off the device.
3. Recovery Menu: Press and hold the Volume Up and Side (power) buttons simultaneously.
4. Release Buttons: When the Samsung logo appears, release all keys.
5. Navigate: Use the volume down button to highlight Wipe cache partition.
6. Confirm: Press the Side button to select.
7. Use volume down to highlight Yes and press the Side button to confirm.
8. Reboot: Once "Cache wipe complete" appears, select Reboot system now.

This process does not delete any personal data, apps, or photos and is recommended after software updates.

Clear Cache on the Camera app:

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Apps.
3. Search and Select "Camera".
4. Tap Storage.
5. Tap Clear cache at the bottom right.

Clear Cache: Removes temporary files, does not delete app data.
Clear Data: Resets the app to factory default, deletes personal settings and saved data.

Also, sadly there is no official way to revert back to a previous software version.

Let me know if this helps! 🙂

hi guys

I'm not experiencing video stuttering during recording, where this never happened in the beginning of my ownership.

What have you guys tried that fixes this?

I'm trying several settings: video format, 30/60fps, fhd/uhd. I'm not going to turn off stabilization, that's required for my videos.

I wonder if it's possible to go back to previous software versions while keeping security updates (if that's even possible?)

thanks guys!
