Roku remote issues

I downloaded the roku remote app and it has taken over my phone's operating system. I have tried everything I know even holding the app to make the uninstall menu come up. That doesn't work.

Are you trying to uninstall the app? What exactly is happening?

Yes I'm trying to uninstall. It changed my home screen and put the remote widget on my phone. I cannot remove it and can't change my settings back

Go into settings > apps and tap on the app name. It will show phone info and give you the uninstall option.

I have tried that. I have uninstalled the apps but they won't go off my phone

Have you restarted the phone after uninstalling?

Then I think you'll have to back up your data and factory reset.

In apps you should be seeing it list and able to uninstall last resort if not showing as @Mujibar said factory reset

I don't really know I think I went into the app manager. It still messed with some stuff.
