I haven't gotten the new Blood pressure software yet?

I have a S23 ultra and a Watch 7. And they are both up to date. But my Samsung Health Monitor software has not picked up on the new automatic blood pressure update nor is there an app update in the App Store for it for me anyhow. Is it released US wide or piece by piece in certain areas?

What Samsung support told me was it probably being updated as part of the April security update! Not sure but that's what they think! I have the ultra s25 phone & the ultra 7 watch! I used the side load that Dante 63 made! But Samsung made it so you can't do side load apps when android 16 upgraded on phones! After that was unable to use side loaded BP in Samsung health! It's actually also part of the ECG app, that's were you actually take your BP! It really worked good & match my regular cuff! Which omron evol box cuff can Bluetooth feed Samsung Health! Which is nice also!

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I didn't get an Omron cuff - mine synchs to Google so I have to manually record it in Samsung Health. Guess I wait and see 🙂

As of right now, believe it or not Watch 4 is getting it first.
You will still need a traditional monitoring cuff to calibrate your watch initially, then every 28 days after

Sounds like Samsung. I don't mind breaking out the manual cuff once a month (it's a good one). I just need to keep an eye on it (casually) daily while munching those delicious pills.

Most wearable that do blood pressure require a monthly calibration. I remember when they had the bplab app that would do BP. It needed monthly calibration

Any cuff will work. Once the watch gets the BP you use the cuff to take an initial reading then the watch and input the reading from the cuff into the watch to tell it was is your current BP so it is calibrated.

Today I got the update on my watch but not on my phone! So I've done little surfing & found the Samsung Health Monitor apk online for the phone via apkmirror.com for it to work - vers-1.4.7.003! To download you have to go into settings & turn off auto blocker! Then download & install! Then it works! To allow sync between the SHM & SH apps open the SHM app on your phone go to settings & select data permissions & allow Samsung Health to sync & connect! It works great! You can do the calibration before doing the sync settings! I did the calibration with my cuff then took another reading after about 15 minutes & they were within couple points! Great tracker & synced perfectly
