Can we keep Samsung Messages?!

I just opened my phone and realized Samsung wants us to switch to Google messages. I am not ok with this. This is a dumb idea. Google messages did not work well when I 1st bought my phone and I'm sure it doesn't work any better now. Please let us keep the option for Samsung messages. I'm sure many Samsung users feel the same way.

I have been on multiple messaging platforms, and I genuinely hate how Google messages looks. If they are combing it with Samsung, why do I have to use Google emojis and Google photos? I dont want a Google phone.

I really like the format of Samsung messages, I am really disappointed in Samsung for getting rid of it.

Corporations need to stop making my life worse.

Sorry, I more so meant you will be only able to use Google messages going forward, hence the combination of Samsung and Google.

Right there with you. I went back to samsung after having pixel and hating google and their messaging system. The whole reason I'm with samsung is for the cute themes and messaging.

I think choice is always a good thing, but I switched to Google messages a little while back and yes it's definitely not as customizable as Samsung messages was. Googles messages works great and never had any problems with the app.

Woke up to this warning to switch the message feature.

Anyway that i could input an idea first? I

tried using Google msging but there are a few reasons why I don't like it.

One major one is because it does not utilize the theme of the phone. As a Samsung theme user, I love changing my phone themes frequently & It's upsetting that Google msgs does not follow it, just basic black or white.

I put a review, but how else can u make a suggestion that they can change this?

My extended family. Is on apple since their kids were in H.S I i really like samsung tech support.Because you were able to call up almost any time and get support from any little or big problem.I don't know if that's doable with apple? Plus the fact that the colors on Google are not good compared to apple. And I work and fabric and yarn.
