Ok. I've used samsung email for years with only an occasional bug. Usually non repeatable except for this one.
I get a group email from my college instructor sent to 52 students. I got one a few months ago and found it in my spam folder. I moved it to my inbox.

I went to my instructors name in my contacts list and tagged it as a VIP.

I was checking my spam folder before clearing it out today and found another email from her there, tagged as VIP but still moved to the spam folder. Her address is a standard "firstname.lastname@tccd.edu".

Then someone in the list clicks reply all instead of reply and I get the reply not in the spam folder, but in the in box. (Along with 52 other addresses)

How can I get her email in my inbox and not sent to spam?

EDIT: just got another group email from her assistant. Same list of 52 from a standard email address. (Aol.com) That one went to inbox with no issues.

Go to your email provider's app or website, find it in your spam folder and flag it as not spam or add a filter to send all mail from that sender to the inbox. This is not a Samsung mail error, it us your email provider's error. I've been finding a lot of messages in my spam box lately that have always gone to my inbox. Yahoo changed something in their algorithm. I use a mail app that is not Samsung mail. Once I went into yahoo mail in their app and marked them as not spam while still in my spam box, they returned to being delivered to my inbox in my mail app.

If you're gonna post an additional question, it would help greatly if you would start a new thread. Reduces confusion.

@Big-Bad-Brad is right, you should have created your own post since your question is a separate issue. However, since it's marginally on the same subject, I will answer it. The answer for spam filtering is the same as above. Do it from your email provider's site or app - or find another mail reader with no cap on spam markers. I mark hundreds of spam messages a week and have yet to come across a spam cap that won't allow me to add more. I do not use Samsung Mail, I use another and have for years. The way I understand that my mail reader works is that if I mark a message as spam, it also sends notification to my mail provider that it's spam.
