You can find out with 2 methods. First method is by IMEI or second method is to look it up with model numbers

I'm not a total expert but the international version is lacking some features that the US version has. I found out the version by going into your browser and typing the model number in the url bar. If the phone is legit you will get a full description about your phone.

If the 5th character (after SM-) in the model number is U, it's US. If B, it's international, if N, it's Korea, if 0, it's Chinese, if W, it's Canadian. Not all phones have all model numbers.
