Stop the Weather app from opening the browser

For the stock weather app is there a way to implement it so that when I click on a day it doesn't bring me to a browser just keep it in the app it's so much cleaner.

I believe there is a way. What I've learned about samsung is that they have a lot of built in redundancies in, & on there devices. Samsung Galaxy phones, has 2 weather apps that one could use. It's just a matter of selecting the right one, & or the one that suits you. I hope this was helpful. Also you can go into the settings of the weather app, & or widget, & set things to your liking.
