Android Auto App not present?

In multiple help forums and other sources, everyone seems to mention an Android Auto App they use to connect apps such as YouTube Music, etc to their cars. When I look at the play store, it says that I have the "app" installed, but when searching the entire phone, using the search bar, I cannot find the existence of an app. Instead, I just have a basic configurations menu within my settings app that doesn't let me do anything more than manage how notifications show up or if music plays automatically. Could someone help provide clarification or a solution? Thanks 🙂

Android Auto is no longer a separate app. You can find it by going to settings/connected devices and scrolling down to Android Auto. Tap on Android Auto and you can set it up and connect your vehicle. You would add your music apps to the launcher in the "customize launcher" settings. You can then arrange the launcher in the order that you want.
