Hi, I've been using my s24 ultra for almost a year now and realized I've never seen it say super fast charging and stick with it like my s21 ultra did.

It always pop up for a quick second then goes right back to "charging".

I decided to go ahead and purchase myself a new charger since the old charger 25w I was using came from my s9, so I've never decided I needed one as it wasn't a problem until now.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I ordered the 45w charger with the matching cable from Samsung shop. It arrived, I plugged it in and the problem is still the same and I'm just so lost now.

I even wiped my battery stats, went into reboot mode.. cleaned my charging port delicately..nothing..

Is my phone actually super charging? Whenever I check the settings battery menu it shows it, but my notification screen shows the regular charging time.

I even switched out the 45w charger with my 25w charger to see if it made a difference but the times stayed the same. I will leave the images here, please help!

Are those illusions made by the system? Is my super charger 2.0 actually working?

I take great care of my phone, so I'm extremely lost here.

There's a setting that let's you turn on fast charging.....seems you went through all that for nothing.....

Fast charging wouldn't show up if I didn't have this setting enabled. 😮‍💨

@OmnipotentShopper When your battery is at 90+% charged, the charging is going to drop out of fast charging and charge slower to protect the battery.

You will only see fast charging at much lower battery percentages.

I took screenshots of it at 80, but this problem has persisted even below 50. I appreciate the response though.

Same issue here, I got a 45 watts charger and a 2.0 cable that supports "super fast charging", and I've never seen that.

There is nothing to be confused about, you have hit 2.0, the last 10% gets stepped down.

I got a notification about your other reply but I can't see it anymore, so you're saying even though it says "charging", I'm still getting the 2.0?

I edited that comment. Yes, you are. You can always double check on the battery page.

It will only say 2.0 for second before just charging.

Usually when the phone reaches 80% or higher it will do a slow charge to prevent overheating and battery from going bad. It's to protect the battery and yourself. Try letting the charge go down to like 20 percent and then you'll see the difference

My s25 ultra would estimate 20 min or so till full and not be full after an hours time in 1 UI7. With 1UI 8 it says a time and is actually correct

That was with 45 W fast charging 2.0
