How do I turn Now Brief off if I don't want to use it? I've deselected all of the options but it's still appearing on my lock screen.

Never mind. I figured it out. You have to go into the Now Bar settings to turn off Now Brief. Weirdly, you can't turn Now Brief off in the Now Brief settings. 🤔

I don't really have a lot of use for it yet. So right now it's just annoying me being on my lock screen. I'm sure I'll use it in the future but most of the options I don't need right now.

Glad you figured it out! This is because now brief can't be disabled as a feature. It can only be disallowed from showing on the Now bar. You could still access the feature using the widget if you wanted to, even after removing from the now bar

To turn Now Brief on or off:
1. Lockscreen & AoD settings
2. Now Bar
3. Now Brief on or off.

After all the waiting for this feature, it is really disappointing. Just static data pulled from various apps. Not the AI tool Samsung was promoting. I turned it off and also removed it from the edge panel. Maybe later they will improve it but for now it is not useful to me.

Which is absolutely absurd since most ppl never asked for it in first place. These "upgrades" that are hidden even though more ppl want it deleted more than that U2 album everyone had to delete off iPhone like 5 years ago.

you are asking someone to justify themselves for not wanting an intrusive feature that changes how their device looks and operates... i really want to know what the endgame with all of these unwanted and widely unpopular "AI" features is. is it merely to justify collecting even more data from users?

Go to the Now Bar settings to stop Now Brief from showing up on your lock screen. Someone posted instructions above. You can't fully turn Now Brief off. But you can stop it from showing on your lock screen. Then you just don't use it.

Go to Lock Screen and AOD, click on Now Bar. It's there under Now Brief.

Settings -> Lock screen and AOD -> Now Bar, go down and you'll see where to shut it off.

its not only annoying and cringy, with its "early bird!" comments knowing I wake up that early every day, but more importantly it completely blocks my music app. cant skip, pause, play, or even see what song is on on my homescreen anymore because some stupid ai "feature" is covering it completely.
