    <description>&lt;P&gt;Have you tried resetting your router by unplugging it, waiting 60 seconds and plugging it back in?&amp;nbsp; It sounds as if you have an unstable wi-fi connection.&amp;nbsp; You also may have interference between your router and your devices. You may need a mesh network or wi-fi extender, depending on how far away and how many walls are between you and your router at any given time.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For most appliances, the 2.4 gHz band is preferred.&amp;nbsp; Phones can elect to use whichever band is more stable.&amp;nbsp; I guarantee you will not notice a difference in speed between the 2.4 gHz and 5gHz band for anything.&amp;nbsp; I do find that the 5 gHz band is less stable and shorter range than the 2.4 gHz band (hence why it's preferred for appliances and smart devices).&amp;nbsp; And, you should configure two networks and not combine them.&amp;nbsp; Most smart devices (especially smart plugs) do not have the hardware to figure out which band to be on when the networks are combined.&lt;/P&gt;
