    <description>&lt;P&gt;If her phone randomly has a PIN on it, it is likely her Google or Samsung account got compromised and someone locked it using the find app.&amp;nbsp; Photos are automatically backed up to Google Photos: photos.google.com, so they should first check to make sure the photos are in Google, then go ahead and reset the phone.&amp;nbsp; Even if they are not there, sometimes you have to lose stuff to learn to make independent backups. But first she should change the password to her Google account on an uncompromised device.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;By the way, you can no longer unlock a phone from find device, you can only lock it down.&amp;nbsp; There is actually no sane reason to remotely unlock a device, and one would still need the PIN/password to do it.&amp;nbsp; The people in Korea gave her misinformation, as even Samsung can't unlock a phone regardless of whether an account was set up, as PINs, passwords, patterns, biometrics reside solely on the device and nowhere else.&amp;nbsp; Samsung may have been able to do a remote reset to unlock her phone, but that's about it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
