S24 ultra heating and battery draining fast even on light usage

I got s24 ultra recently and phone is heating up and battery draining faster than expected. Please provide fix for it..

Anyone else's phone getting extremely hot? When I was using smart things to transfer, the phone got really hot. I thought it would be done afterwards but even now after using the phone regularly scrolling through apps it's still hot.

I've noticed that, too. I changed the power settings on my phone. It's much cooler now.

Same here. Even scrolling on Facebook gets the area to the right of the camera extremely hot

My s22u got quite warm and so does this. The bigger vapor chamber must be working well at removing that heat.

That's true. My s24 battery is draining faster than my s23 . What's gives samsung . I basically have the same settings for both

I have majority of apps in sleep and deep sleep still it's draining fast

Your phone is learning your usage patterns, so it usually takes about a week or two until you get the full potential of the battery. When I got my S23 Ultra, it did the same thing.

If you go to your battery settings, it should say "learning usage patterns."

I would just give it some time. When I got my S23 Ultra, it did the same thing. I thought something was wrong with my battery because it was past 10 days, and I thought my battery had a fault. But it would last me a full day of use.

When I first got it, the heating part started heating up when I used the circle to search feature, but it hasn't done it since. Maybe it could be something that could be fixed with a software update.

I did try cache partition wipe but still same prb...also when checked temp using cpuz app...it's ranging between 43 to 47 degree celsius

I only have a few apps on this S24 ultra, as I'm wondering on wether or not to keep, since the screen is so dull, even after messing some settings.. Still not as great at my S23 Ultra. But the battery is great! Only died 10% with light use in a 12hrs period. If you transferred your apps from your old phone. That's the culprit. I never transfer apps, only other data.
