Mobile data connectivity is usually a carrier (as opposed to device) issue. You could try resetting mobile network settings under settings > general management > reset.

WiFi issues would be related to the wireless network you're on and/or the ISP. If it's your home WiFi, try rebooting your router.

I find mobile data somewhat slow sometimes even when on a 5G tower - it mostly depends on what kind of content I am trying to view when on mobile data. Text pages and maps are fine. Web pages with heavy graphics and advertising are slower. As with wi-fi, speed depends on data traffic off a particular cell repeater. Are you always on a 5G network? I also have found that data slows down considerably when the phone is "confused". If you have wi-fi on, but are in the vicinity of a wi-fi network that you don't connect to, the phone can't figure out whether to try to use the wi-fi or the mobile data (yes, even with intelligent wi-fi on). My solution is usually just to turn the wi-fi off when that happens. Speeds right up.
