Samsung Account

Hello,

My husband has a previous samsung account but when trying to login it wants to send a verification code to a phone number he has never had. The next option is to use a backup code which he does not remember ever setting one up. Is there a way for him to login and reset a different way? Or should I have him create a new account?

I'm sorry to say that if he can't receive the verification code or access the backup code, he will need to create a new account, as those security features cannot be bypassed. If he has the option to reset his password that might bypass it but I can't guarantee it.

Сейчас к сожалению только через номер телефона проверочный код. Иначе никак не получится. Создайте тогда новый самсунг аккаунт и свяжите его с вашим действующим номером телефона. К сожалению сейчас так

Я тоже сталкивался с этой проблемой в России. Это везде одно и тоже. Мне пришлось создавать новый аккаунт с действующим номером телефона, поддержка самсунг не помогла мне в этом вопросе. Извините, что пишу вам на русском языке, так как английского языка не знаю. Общаюсь через гугл переводчик с вами

Doesn't need a new account. He can request his 2 steps phone number to be changed thru customer support. It will be a 2 week process before he'll be able to log in with his new number being used for 2 step verification. I just had to do this myself. Now I'm back. Lol. Hope he gets it worked out if hasn't yet.
