      <description>Hello,&lt;DIV&gt;My husband has a previous samsung account but when trying to login it wants to send a verification code to a phone number he has never had. The next option is to use a backup code which he does not remember ever setting one up. Is there a way for him to login and reset a different way? Or should I have him create a new account?&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm sorry to say that if he can't receive the verification code or access the backup code, he will need to create a new account, as those security features cannot be bypassed.&amp;nbsp; If he has the option to reset his password that might bypass it but I can't guarantee it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Doesn't need a new account. He can request his 2 steps phone number to be changed thru customer support. It will be a 2 week process before he'll be able to log in with his new number being used for 2 step verification. I just had to do this myself. Now I'm back. Lol. Hope he gets it worked out if hasn't yet.</description>
