My settings are changing by themselves

My settings are constantly changing by themselves. I have things a certain way because of privacy reasons and those settings are getting changing often, (usually overnight)

At first I thought nothing of it, but now I'm 50% confused and 50% upset. It happens in my settings app as well as my browser. If someone could toss some advice my way, it would be much appreciated!

In this app home page (discovery) scroll down to the bottom u see beta program press that and it will tell if your in or not. Usually when in beta your phone settings and functionality changes almost everyday sometimes u dont know until u actually going to open a specific app or data. Its normal for beta users. But if your not a part of it then it must be some settings on you phone need to be adjusted

Ok try contacting technical support they will be able to fix it by connecting to the phone

Connection settings, nfc, wifi, bluetooth but on most occasions it's quick share. Permission settings, mostly "modify system settings" or "install unknown apps" and "all files access" but it's all of them, i just quit trying. Literally all of my accessibilty settings never are the same ever, especially talk back. And then little things all over the place. I don't understand why you would give a man settings but take them away the second he's comfortable with them.

Oh and most of my notifications aren't showing up, i find them in"notification settings." Am i crazy? Are these normal?

Which phone do you have? Which OneUI and Android version?

Do you think there's a possibility that someone else is remotely controlling your phone?

Did this just start happening out of the blue?

Did you recently have an updated that this started after? Are all your security and Play System upudates current?

Have you reset your phone in an attempt to see if these things still occur?

Its an s24, the ui is version 8.0. I've had the thought cross my mind but i try not to be very paranoid.. it's done this since i got it brand new from verizon. I've tried just about everything and I've learned way more than i wanted to. I think the biggest problem is when i go to factory data reset, it says that I'm unauthorized

You should be receiving notifications in the notification area. Some notifications won't show there (mainly system notifications), but will only show in the notification history.

When you got it brand new, did you transfer from your old phone or start from scratch? If someone (an ex?) had access to your phone, they could have put some kind of controller app on it if they were savvy enough, but if your BT and wi-fi keep getting turned off, I think that's unlikely because they would need some over the air connection to your phone to control it. Also, someone changing the specific settings you mentioned would serve no purpose except to vex you.

When you say when you reset it it tells you that you are unauthorized, is it possible you are not logging into the correct accounts? Go to the settings and make sure that both the Google account and Samsung account showing are your accounts and not someone else's. You must use the same accounts you were logged into when you reset the phone. You can go to both your Samsung and Google accounts, check which devices are logged in and log them all out. You will have to sign in again. If someone compromised either account and somehow changed your credentials, that could be why you are unauthorized. Unfortunately, if that's the case, unless the phone gets logged out of those accounts, you will remain unauthorized on that device. You can try logging out of the accounts from the phone settings, but I am not sure if it would require your account passwords to do so - not normally a problem if the password is the one you set and know, but a major problem if someone else changed it.

If you decide to attempt a factory reset again, make sure your are logged out of both your Google and Samsung accounts and then start entirely from scratch without restoring a backup.

Hello dyl_pickle! I understand how much frustration this may have caused you. After a factory reset, did you restore your data from your previous device? Are you logged in the correct Samsung account? Have you attempted to boot your device in Safe Mode to see if a third-party app could be the cause of your settings changing?
