I also have limited which apps can run in the background. HOW IS THREE HOURS of phone usage acceptable at all for a 2 year old flagship phone??? The numbers in the image speak for themselves. FIX this issue

That sometimes happens after a firmware update. It takes a few days for your device to automatically adjust. Everything is done in the background, but you can try using the Samsung Good Guardians app from the Galaxy Store, which should optimize your device. I recommend you run it after any type of firmware update. Also, check and see if you have any updates regarding Google Play Services and Google Mainline Services.

https://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.android.samsung.utilityapp

Software issues get fixed with optimization. I can clearly see that Firefox is your battery drainer. so either put the app to sleep, or add it to battery optimization. Also it was mentioned that you recently had an update. As @user_ams007 said, after an update your battery must relearn your usage patterns, and that can take up to a week.

If you are so certain that nothing you can do will work, then please put in an error report through the feedback link in the support tab of the members app and let the developers work it out or tell you otherwise.

Its not acceptable, compared to other competitors its a embarrassment how terrible the optimization is. After a google play or software update over 8 hours of battery life I was getting and under 8 gigs of ram of usage, then two days later it went back to 5ish hours of battery life and garbage stutters and how laggy it felt. Take IOS example, ios 26 not only with features but they also focus on optimization vs samsung customization and more Ai slob and features. That's it.
