Did the latest update this morning. My s24 ultra is super hot and battery drains about 20% an hour with 0 usage. Even on super fast charge cord, its staying at 4% even tho it says itll be fully charged in 1 hr 40 mins

I have this problem while running Google messages. You cannot change the settings for battery optimization in this app. Samsung took away their native messaging app, now we are **bleep**, any other decent text app doesn't work with my galaxy watch. Complete shady move by Samsung. S26 Ultra

Major battery draining and over heating issues since the update. Phone dies within hours and barely minimum use. Phone is HOT all the time. Have done all the optimization steps listed and nothing is helping. Also phone will hardly charge. This needs a fix immediately!

turn on power savings, minimize the programs running and turn down brightness until they get it fixed.

There are a few things that you can try to remedy the issue. First make sure that you have the latest software update. Recent updates have helped to address battery drain issues. You can also clear the cache partition, to do this power off the unit then hold Volume Up + Power to enter recovery mode, select Wipe cache partition, and reboot the phone. Also try toggling Airplane mode and check your signal strength. A weak signal can affect the battery performance. You can also put unused apps into deep sleep mode to stop

you can deep sleep a lot of apps that you don't use that much also until they fix it and that will save some battery.

The battery drain issue appears to be from the last update. I updated day ago and had battery drain issues right away with my s24 ultra. Will there be a correction update to fix this?

I found the issue on my phone if you go into Apps you'll see Mobile Services crashing over and over. I cleared cache and data, but it still crashed. I went to the Galaxy Store and did all the updates and it stopped crash looping. Hope this helps. 🙏 Edit: Never mind, still crash looping Mobile Services.

I think we all are having the same issue since update..they need to fix this. Some of us travel alot and I hate to have an issue at airport...until its fixed im turning phone off during flights

For me it was Mobile Services crashing over and over like in this video. I fixed it by going to Apps -> Open Mobile Services -> ... menu on the top right -> Uninstall Updates.
