I haven't updated my phone yet, but just want to know if everyone is experiencing battery drain and overheating issues after the April software update, or if it's only certain models. I have s24 plus

Im literally 1 payment from paying off this phone and this happen Im so mad 😭 and Its unfair to even think about taking my phone to a repair shop and get charge for something that samsung did

That's just horrible. I hope my phone doesn't have any issues like that. It's not hot and it's not really losing that much battery. Little faster then normal but usually does that after any update I do

Yes, I was wondering if this was just me not noticing that it has been draining way faster. Can the update be undone?

Guy with update here. I dont know if it is either the update stabilizing or if it is because I restored the Knox module to factory, but my phone is normal again. It was bad yesterday, bit better this morning, and now this afternoon it is like usual

I don't believe so, you would have to take it to a shop and see if they can do that for you not sure how you undo a software update. Sorry I can't help more

I kept seeing everything point back to Know Matrix, so I force stopped it, uninstalled updates, and turned off auto update. Unfortunately, I can't completely delete it, and in fact, I can only find it as an app on my S24+ through the galaxy store.... talk about shady!! Anyway, today it's seemed back to normal, but since I'd done battery saver, optimizations, etc all first, I haven't reset any of that back to normal. So maybe Knox Matrix was it, or it's the 25 different things I did all combined. 🤷 ♀️

I found the issue on my phone if you go into Apps you'll see Mobile Services crashing over and over. I cleared cache and data, but it still crashed. I went to the Galaxy Store and did all the updates and it stopped crash looping. Hope this helps. 🙏
