Battery Dying

I recently updated my phone, maybe a week ago? Im noticing my phone dying super quickly. My battery does not last as long as it did before this update, and my phone although on a fast charger is taking long to charge. Has anyone else noticed their phones dying quicker and losing battery percentage quickly although your not even using your phone??

This is very annoying! I remember a few updates ago this happened and users were saying this (my phone did it then too) but then they updated again and my battery went back to normal. So im super annoyed! 😩

S25. Same thing, hot to the touch and 3 hours of battery max.

Yes super annoying. I wonder if they know so they can send an update to fix it again! 🙃

It feels like Samsung doing this battery drain business for older phones on purpose. It's really frustrating, I paid way too much money for poor battery life.

I just finished paying this phone off. I can trade in, but there is not much difference between this and the 26. And I dont wanna jump to a barely new phone and have to pay that off as well. I baby this phone, my battery should not be doing this! Its BS!

I uninstalled the updates for Knox and mobile services. We will see if this helps at all. Good luck!!! Maybe try the same

@LadeeDee Which carrier are you using? We were at the Samsung service center getting a screen replacement on an S24 Ultra today and they mentioned that the recent updates by T-Mobile were causing bad battery drain. They were seeing it on the S24+ and S24 Ultra. We are using AT&T so we aren't affected.

Im on Tmobile! Lolll of course! This happened a few updates ago as well and then when I installed the next update my phone went back to normal no issues. This update from like a week ago is draining my battery quickly. So now im hoping the next update fixes it.

Thats good. Ima wait til the next update and see what happens and if not then ill uninstall those. I don't wanna jump the gun to quickly. Apparently another update is a week away hopefully so well see.

Its super frustrating!! I charge at night, go work by the time I get home im at 40% when usually im lke at 80 or 85. Its annoying!

Yes, same here. My Samsung 24 ultra battery is draining quicker than before. I missed my alarm one morning because the battery died during the night. I have the super fast charger and it's still taking almost 2 hours to fully charge. Never had this issue before this most recent update 🙄

Ugh its whatever they did with the most recent update!! Its super frustrating. Hopefully the next update they fix it.
