Voice to text Google message

Since the last update the mic is missing when I use Google message. Nothing I have looked up enables it. Even the voice option in settings. HELP!!

Go to Settings >General Management >Samsung keyboard settings >Voice input and select Samsung voice input. This should add the Mic option to the lower left corner of the keyboard.

This didn't work. I had to download the GBoard app.

As follows - General management > keyboard list and default > keyboard button on navigation bar.

Now look on the bottom corner of your screen, while the keyboard is open and you will see the mic icon tucked away there nice and neat! Your welcome!

Thanks. But the issue is that the icon when it appears in bottom left hand corner is VERY FEINT. I know you cant do anything about it !

The mic icon used to appear above the main keyboard; I suppose some upgrade has stopped that happening.
