A bug fix to fix an issue that ONLY your phone is having? I have an s24 ultra and it has yet to restart on me once unexpectedly (I have had it since 2 days before they officially launch). Sounds like you either got a lemon, or you need to factory reset it (despite believing that it wont help).

Most bugs I can tolerate but random restarts are not one of them. Since there's no quality control on things like this I'll just have to start buying refurbished phones from a trusted Source or just get a budget phone for now on

I am not qualified to make this call. I also do not have all of the information required to make this call. An authorized Samsung service partner should be able to evaluate and make this call.

I CAN state that this does not happen with MY device, so does not look to be an issue that requires, or would even benefit from a "bug fix".

How do you know that there is no quality control on things like this? Do you work for Samsung, or have intimate knowledge of their processes? You are basing the rest of this post on an assumption that may or may not be correct. While I cannot stop you from being you, I can ask that you not send others in the same, unverified direction.

I understand that you are having an issue, but lashing out at the company that made the device should not always be the first response, maybe try getting the device looked at to determine where the fault actually lies, and if it is a hardware issue, please understand that they produce these things in the thousands, and cannot verify that every single one is 100% free of bugs, without a serious impact to release windows.

With all this scrutiny going on still baffles me how in the heck does a random reboot that's hardware-related can slip pass that a software issue is one thing that's not a problem it's the hardware that I'm concerned about

Any luck? We just got an s21 and it will randomly between 5 min and like 3 hours just restart. It didn't happen before we downloaded the updates but that could just be a coincidence. We did do a factory reset and it still happens with nothing downloaded on the phone. No error messages either

Reboot your phone into safe mode temporarily and see if the problem still occurs. If not, your problem is being caused by some third-party app you installed.
