S24Ultra Pro-Mode Camera Upside Down

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone had issue with Pro Mode Camera for S24Ultra? I just got my phone yesterday and I just tested the camera. Pro-mode Camera been upside down ever since. I have tried to restart the phone couple times, but nothing fixed. This is so annoying!

Hi, so I ran into this issue as well. What worked for me was to go into the camera info page. long press cam icon and hit the i button, then clear both cache and data. It reverts the cam settings, so you'll have to setup those how you like, but for me it put pro mode upright.

Just checked it out I don't have any issues with mine could be a software issue maybe the next software update might fix it

The problem happen when you turn on DOF adapter correction in camera assistant.

I took this two pictures with my S24 ultra like you normally take a regular picture but at you can see the pictures came out upside down. I recorded this with my iPhone while taking the pictures to have proof that the phone was with the camera the right way.

Hopefully we get an software update by tomorrow to fix this issue and so many mores

The pictures that don't get upside down look very good, but I wanted to bring this to samsung attention so they can fix this issue

Do you have camera assistant? It's a setting you can change... DOF Adapter needs to be off.

Yeah I did that after I reported to samsung support via X. After turning this off the imagine came out normal. But they need to fix that little issue

I think it's just apart of how that feature works... with a mirror the picture is technically flipped. So when a camera takes it with that feature it is actually taking it the right way.

I've been unable to replicate this. Are you sure you weren't holding your phone upside-down?

Specifically what setting in camera assistant do I need to turn on?

EDIT:Just replicated it. It's when Depth of Field correct is on in camera assistant, and you use pro photo shooting mode.
First Pic is standard photo mode 5x, and the second Pic is pro mode.
Or maybe we aren't understanding what the Camera Assistant DOF setting is actually supposed to be doing?

I'm being using samsung smartphone phones since forever. I'm using cellphones since 1996. So yeah I was holding the phone the right way. I even recorded a video with my iPhone while taking the picture so I can send that video to samsung support via X. I reset the camera setting because there is something on the camera assistant that makes the phone takes the pictures that way if you enable that

Seeing what we turned on and seeing second person confirming it might help. Been using Sammy phones and cameras also since the Galaxy S3.
But I've still taken photos upside down both landscape and portrait. I don't worry about it much since it's easy to flip.

PRO modes vid/photos are upside-down
