Hello all, thanks for reaching out. I can certainly see how concerning it is for the S24 Ultra to become unresponsive when connected to Android Auto, and would like to look further into this for you.

If clearing the device cache is not working, as well as trying other adapters, it may be a third-party application causing this behavior. Try in Safe Mode (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/) and see if the behavior is still present there. If it isn't, then you should uninstall third-party applications until normal behavior is restored when connecting to Android Auto.

Lastly, if the behavior continues to happen in Safe mode, then it may be time to try a factory reset. Make sure to back up (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00060517/) everything prior, then perform the factory reset (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/)

If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician.

You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S.: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by calling customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

A month or two ago my phone screen wouldn't show me anything when trying to use it after it had connected to my vehicle's aftermarket system with built in Wireless Android Auto. The only thing I could see was the Energy Ring battery indicator app that is always on. If I disconnected Android Auto from the vehicle's unit, the phone would work normally again. Now occuring Everytime I use for the last week or two. I have checked both systems for all updates, cleared cache on both systems, and cleared Cache Partition on the S24U. I'm going on a trip where I'll need both to work and I'm at a loss as to what is happening...
