S24 Ultra Camera Quality Feedback

As many of us are experiencing these camera issues where the post processing ruins images taken by making them grainy or too saturated. I found temporarily that using the camera in safe mode and airplane mode gave me way better results when using the camera . Hopefully they fix this soon

UPDATE

Turns out my camera issue is a hardware issue. I spoke to representative and there are no updates coming for the camera, only for the screen issues. I will return mine an get a new device. Seems I got a early model that was part of a bad batch.

Update: got my replacement device today NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE. now this is what the s24 ultra is supposed to be. WOW I can't believe the difference. The screen for sure is way brighter and more colorful and the camera is amazing and no issues with post processing ruining images. If anything it just makes them way better. I can't believe what a difference there is between the devices

So I also noticed that saturation (or Warmth) in all photos is dialed down a lot to unrealistic level. If S23 was probably too much, S24 is just not enough. The issue is fixed by applying a warm filter to around 5 but then document scanner doesn't work with filter set to ON (which I use almost daily). I checked pictures on my PC monitor and the difference between S24+ and my S23U is like night and day

50/200MP cameras processing destroying photos.

On my S24 Ultra the 200/50MP cameras have this processing after taking the shot that destroys the picture. There is no way to disable it, not in camera setting or camera assitant, tried everything. This happends on pro and expert raw also!!! This has effectively rendered the 50/200MP cameras useless. My S22 Ultra makes much better photos! And it's on android 14 One UI6. Samsung needs to release a patch now, I'm already making a YT video on this. So much **bleep** on the net saying the cameras are perfect when it couldn't be farther from the truth.

Camera over saturates natural colors and some photos blur

I start with the pictures. I start in that the photos are changed the natural color to an exaggerated saturation, turning the photo yellow, also when you take pictures of the meals is tortally blurry. I am very disappointed, because I wanted this cell phone before it came to the market, and it is a waste of money to buy this phone, I would have stayed with the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G. because this Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is not worth anything.

I'm going throug the same problem, I hate the way that this cell phone takes the photos. I wasted my money on this cellphone.

the photos on my cell phone are blurry and yellow and I only have the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra cell phone since yesterday

I called customer support to complain, and their solution was to take it to a repair facility. So I'm returning it. I tested it out for 2 days and results were the same S23 Ultra better camera quality.

I have just done a similar result in low light. In great light, S24 proves to be just as good. However, the trade-off is better images from 5x to 10x a more usable range. Sure, things may be better, but if you're returning a phone because it takes worse pictures at 100x, then maybe you should invest in a proper camera system, instead.

Main thing is justify paying for a downgrade. Especially when I have to pay 600 plus after trade in for something that's not better.

What would you do with either of those awful pictures? It seems this was taken at night time, neither the 5x nor the 10x have a big enough sensor to let enough light in for it to be a usable shot.

Exactly, the "SPACEZOOM " is a gimmick, a sometimes useful gimmick. It's uses are for reading signs far away, not amparlor trick, see what my phone can do!

Zoom camera is a neat feature to have and use even to identify something in a pinch. Sometimes it's helps for quick glance for job purposes instead of buying a camera system yo carry everywhere. So I took a 126 pictures total on both phones and 75% S23 was better just my results. We all have reason we buy a phone in the end my reason my not apply to your others just figured I post those as a quick reference.
