Visual Voicemail not working Galaxy s24

People are telling me they're leaving me voicemails however, I have not been receiving anything. My visual voicemail says I have no messages. But I get the pop-up notification that I have a visual voicemail. It's through AT&T but I'm not sure that has anything to do with it. but I'm not sure that has anything to do with it. Does anyone know of a place within my settings that might have turned something off? It's weird that I'm getting the pop-up notification but then when I go into my voicemail there's nothing there.

Correct me if I am wrong...visual voicemails might be a perk from your carrier. When I had an iphone, you always had a visual voicemail. When I switched to the s24 ultra, T-Mobile had to advertise it as if it were a perk apart of my plan. Have you gone to your phone app, clicked the voicemail symbol to the left of the call button, and tried to call your voicemail the old school way to listen to messages?

I have done that or rather tried. But it required a password. So I entered a new password and it said that I was unable to do that. I think I'll just call my carrier in the morning. Voicemail is just really important to work that I do.

You would have to contact your carrier they will reset your Voicemail and setup a new password for it.

Had same issue with my S24 Ultra, turned out esim on xfinity mobile sucked (for me) and they gave me a physical sim and issue was fixed!

Try this see if it helps go to Settings > Apps > Voicemail > Battery > toggle on UNRESTRICTED

Clear data for visual voicemail. Then reopen visual voicemail and set it back up.

Visual Voicemail has only ever worked for me on iPhone. Every android I ever tried has never worked

Call the carrier. Here's what happened to me and how I fixed it:

I have an S22 Ultra, and until about 11 days ago (1/20/25), Visual Voicemail worked fine. Then after that date, any voicemail would show up as a different notification, and I would have to dial *86 and enter my pass code (which is so 2003). It would NOT show up in my Visual Voicemail, which is a million times better. I have Verizon, I went to Verizon's site, logged in, chatted with customer service, it was showing shut off on their end. They service rep asked if I had it before, I said yes, and he turned it back on from his end, I simply had to restart phone and "boom" it's back on. It's been working well ever since. Weird how they just turned it off on me, but that fixes it.

I have AT&T. It worked on my Galaxy S 22 Ultra, then 5 months ago it stopped. So I upgraded to S24 Ultra. I can't get visual voicemail at all. Talked to Tech support for 23.5 hours over 4 calls to them. They can't figure it out. I called Samsung, talked to them for 1.5 hours. They said it's AT&T problem to fix. Nobody can fix it. What would you do? Does anyone know how to fix it?
