S24 Ultra Slow charging

So I got my S24 ultra in the mail today. Finished transferring All my files from the S23 ultra to the new phone. Everything went well however, I'm having difficulty fast charging. I use the same charger and same cable on my S23 ultra and t It displays the charging superfast On the screen and usually charges Quickly. S24 Ultra connected to the same cable and charger also displays the superfast charging but is around five times slower than the S23 ultra. Is super fast charging broken on these phones? If so it's pretty unacceptable. Anyone else having issues? I'm reading similar issues from a lot of people on Reddit. Hoping that there is a fix.

I was just going off the amount of time It indicated on the screen and it seems super slow. Anyway I'm hoping that it will get better

And I'm using a 65 watt brick. I hope this is fixed with the firmware update.

I'm having the exact same issue with my s24 ultra after transferring from my s23 ultra. This is obviously a bug and will probably be fixed with a firmware update

A 65 watt brick doesn't matter since the phone can't charge at that speed.

No much difference here.

S23U & S24U charged 50%

Using a 45w fast charger.

S23U = 42 Minutes until full

S24U = 45 Minutes until full

Yes but that's not the point. The point is that the phone should charge close to its rated charge speed since the power supply can easily supply enough power. It is brand new phone is just not doing that when the older s23 ultra is. There's obviously an issue.

So I changed the battery settings on my phone to stop charging it 80%. That seems to have changed something where the phone seems to be charging faster now. Can anyone else try that?

yes, same for me. using this setting increases the charging speed. tis is stupid.

Also experiencing this issue with new S24 Ultra... using the same 100w charger with PPS which delivered super fast charging on my previous S22+.

It shows as super fast charging on the screen, but the time estimates are all wrong... 42 mins to full - then 42 mins later it's only gone up 10 or 20%. Obviously an issue with the phone.

Hopefully a firmware fix solves it or it'll be getting returned!

Yeah I'm going to return mine if the charging issue is not fixed with the next update. Samsung already has the slowest charging of any major flagships out there. It's amazing that they somehow managed to screw it up even further.
