Screen freezing

Does anyone else have a frozen screen from time to time? Lately when I close apps my screen stops working, no touch works and even when I turn it off it has started to show reluctance to do so when this happens.

did that help? I have Galaxy A8 Tablet and recently continually SCREEN FREEZES AND GHOSTING. I did saFe mode, cleaned cache partition, used them uninstalled screen fixes pixel fix from Google Play store.. EVERYTHING short of factory wipe but all did NOTHING to help...any suggestions GREATLY APPRECIATED. thank you.
