No longer able to text in group chat using Samsung messages?

All my settings are correct!

Out of nowhere I cannot text in my group chats😒 it's telling me to switch to the Google messenger but I don't want to nor do i like the Google messenger. My text box is not even showing up for group text messages. Is there anyways to fix this without switching to Google messenger?

You should be able to continue with samsung messages think you're noticing the alert to upgrade message to Google not sure why group messages is being affected have you got the last samsung messages update think was a few weeks ago I saw it

OK that's not something I think happens often atleast I haven't seen mentioned this issue before are you able to go in the settings or some greyed out?

I am having a similar issue. Whenever I send a message to a group, only certain people get it, but no one else. If i text those people individually, they receive the message. this just started happening in the last week or two?

Same problem. In using Samsung Messages (not Google). It affects at least 2 group messages-- both of which include iPhone users.

Other groups that also include iPhone users work fine.

I'm using the standard Galaxy s10 keyboard app AND Chooma's Russian and UK English keyboards. None of the 3 keyboards will appear in the effected group messages.

One group got contentious about Ukraine, and I wondered if the one who organised the group found some way to mute me. The other group is family and VERY UNcontentious, so I see no reason to believe the brother or niece would block me. Besides, I was the group member who organised the family group message.

I'm in the same boat as you. Just had to remake a group chat for the 3rd time bc I'm suddenly not allowed to reply. I don't even have a group chat setting to change.

Same thing here, started in February. I can reply from my galaxy watch on the Samsung message app, just not my phone. Wonder if an update to messages app caused this? I wish someone would fix it!

This didn't work
