So I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra won't run a backup when I'm connected to Wi-Fi, but it will complete the backup when using mobile data. I don't know if it's a problem with my Wi-Fi, but I'm not having any issues on YouTube or anything. I'm just really confused.

P.s Okay, update: I recently started using NordVPN with threat detection enabled.

You can try resetting your router by unplugging it and plugging it back in. That may clear out any wi-fi errors. You might also want to try deleting your phone's cache partition (also to clear out any errors).

Is there a setting in the VPN threat protection to allow exceptions - like access to the Samsung cloud for backing up? It makes sense that threat protection would sense outgoing backup data as a threat. It does not know someone is not trying to copy your data.

There must be a setting. I'm reading the website for the features and it says it allows split tunneling which allows you to route certain traffic without the threat protection. If you can't find the setting, I recommend that you contact the support team for the app and ask how to do it.
