As another user suggested, it may very well be your downloaded sound causing confusion, so you can try deleting that sound. You could also try deleting the phone's cache partition to clear out any junk. It will not harm anything or reset your settings, it will untangle anything that may be causing this. Also, stop mucking around in the system apps, they are hidden for a reason.
