So I tried connect my phone to portable monitor c type to c type but it doesn't work at all.

@Dominospizza Did you plug the display into a charger or powered USB hub?

I believe that you need to supply power to the display from a source other than the phone.

I connected to directly c type display port. And my iPad work but only my phone doesn't work

@Dominospizza Are you using a USB C cable with video capability?

If I use a charging USB C cable, it won't work. But if I use the USB C cable which came with my portable monitor, it works just fine.

Same result if I use my computer to the portable monitor.

Sadly not all usb-c cables are the same. You mention that this works for your iPad, is your iPad a usbc-connection or are you using a different cable, like a Lightning port to USB-C cable? As LongHiker stated, you may need to get a different USB-C cable for this, one that supports the video standards. This can be difficult to determine, as not all manufacturers are forthcoming with this information. If your monitor came with a USB-C cable, then your best bet would be to use that one as it should support the standard.

Problem solved! Thank you so much guys, jt was cable problem. I ordered c type to c type "video" cable so it worked!!!!

Likely because they want to do what THEY want to do, not what YOU want to do, would be my guess.

Or, as an alternative, maybe the screen does not support it. You make a lot of assumptions don't you?
