Swiping to access notifications and Quick panel

I've just updated my s24+ to one ui 7.

I've encountered so far 1 problem in regards of my notifications and quick settings panel.

when I slide down of the left side of the screen the notifications show as it should, but, when I'm trying to bring the quick settings on the right side what I get is the notifications and to show the quick setting I need to kind off long press on the battery and signal section and slide down to get to the quick settings panel.

I thought maybe was a glitch with my Good Lock settings which I uninstalled, but so far didn't fix it.

Maybe I am missing something within my setting?

Pull top panel all the way down, click on pencil (edit) icon on top rt side, then click panel settings. Adjust from there as shown

Can't get both my notifications and all the other little things in the same drop down & issue with sorting apps

Can't get both my notifications and all the other little things in the same drop down anymore - is two separate drop down menus now - I guess that's fine. I dislike that it's all iPhone-y now..

Then there's the problem with the app screen menu.. I cannot after spending hours on the phone with tech support at Samsung over the last 2 days, get my apps to sort alphabetically scrolling horizontal. Why it's changed to vertical is beyond me..

How do I get my apps to sort alphabetically while scrolling left to right!? HELP!!

For the first... pull down your quick panel on the right and then tap the pencil on the top. Choose panel settings on the top left. Then pick together. Now it will be back as it was.

For the app drawer. You can't make the horizontal alphabetical anymore unless you take the time to customize it that way. It only gets sorted automatically to alphabetical now in vertical.

Right away, I hate the update because I have to choose right or left to get the pull down menu that I want from the top of my phone. It was much better when you just were able to swipe down and see all of our notifications and swipe a little further and see our settings. I have a bad hand and I cannot keep going from right to left just to get to a menu it's ridiculous. I hope you guys fix this and put it back to the way it was.

All you have to do it pull down on the quick panel shade on the right, tap the pencil on the top, choose panel settings on top left, and then choose together.
