How to disable AI smart select in edge panel UI7?

how can i disable smart select from ai in sidebar? I just need the selection, without any ai

I constantly need to take a screenshot of a part of the screen. Previously, I simply selected the desired fragment and saved it. After some update, the "smart" selection complicated this process, since even if I selected the desired, it adjusted to the unnecessary. I had to stretch the selection frame to the desired parameters, which complicated and lengthened the selection time. After the ui7 update, it became even worse: now ai thinks that I need text (screenshot1), and I have to press the T button (screenshot2) to save the screenshot. This is in addition to the fact that I also have to adjust the frame + selection started to take much longer to start due to ai launch

The old smart select (without AI) is no longer an option. Your best bet is probably to capture an image the old fashioned way, with Volume Down + Side Button. You can then edit the image.

Or you can enable "palm swipe to capture" under settings, advanced features, motions and gestures.

You're welcome. If you want to remove the Galaxy AI options from the edge panel, tap the pencil icon, tap the 3 dots on the next screen, unselect what you don't want.

There's a problem with the new
A.i select i reported on it but no fix yet..it used to work well until I updated to u.i 7.

Yes ai select is very stupid and counterproductive. The old smart select worked very well.
Samsung should keep in their minds on the future os/ui update to remove that trash and reinstate the old version smart select.
DON'T FIX WHAT ISN'T BROKEN.
Liability of how a copied image is used is not by the manufacturer of a camera, copy machine, and/ or smartphone; it is by the end user and how they intend to use it. As long as Samsung is not automatically uploading all the images to their cloud there should be no legal issues.
SAMSUNG FIX THIS and FIRE the **bleep** WHO MADE THE AI SELECT because it is a serious downgrade.

I agree that the AI select is terrible. Just another excuse for companies to try to put "AI" into everything.

SAMSUNG YOUR AI SELECT MAKES THINGS WORSE. Too many times I want to capture an image of text, but since the AI sees the text, it thinks I want to copy text. IT'S ANNOYING AND I CAN'T TURN IT OFF.
