topic Recent emojis in text are not my recently used emojis in Galaxy S24

Galaxy S24+ purchased in 2025, automatically updated per Samsung schedule. I've noticed this from the beginning of use but ignored it...now it's annoying. In the Messages app, the "Recents" emoji list are not emojis that I recently used, let alone have ever used. Not sure how this list is populated on this new phone but it is not based on actual emojis I've recently used. I've tried resetting the keyboard settings but that doesn't help. I only use a limited number of the same emojis so this feature has always been super useful, until now. Thanks
