I am not a big fan of the chat feature so I tried disabling it, but that caused a bigger issue because I was no longer receive group texts.</P><P>I went into Samsung Messages app-&gt; settings -&gt; chat settings</P><P>-toggled chat features off</P><P>-set default message type to "text or multimedia"</P><P>-set "if chat isn't delievered" to "ask before resending"</P><P>I was able to send messages to groups but I didn't receive any responses.</P><P>The group that I have tried this with has a Samsung user and 2 Apple users. I don't receive responses from anyone. But once I turn the chat features back on, I receive all the messages that had not come through.</P><P>I am able to send and receive individual messages to the same users when the chat features are off, only group messages are affected.</P><P>I have tried deleting the chat/group text and started a new one and resetting my phone and it still doesn't work.</P><P>Also, for the first time on Thursday I had an issue when chat features were on. The group sent about 6 texts back and forth on Thursday 3/13 at around 430pm and I did not get them until 3am Friday 3/14. The other issue I had was that I didn’t receive a individual text for the first time with chat features on: my daughter (Samsung user) sent an individual text to me on Thursday 3/13 at 5pm and I didn't recieve it until 3am on Friday 3/14. I did receive other texts during this time and was home so I know I had service.</P><P>Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?</P><P>Thanks in advance....</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>UPDATE:</P><P>I am still having the issue. But the twist is that I enabled chat and I am still not receiving all group messages.
