In my case I was getting notification sounds all the time, but no notifications were visible. The notification sounds appeared to me to be random. I had used SmartSwitch to transfer apps data from an iPhone.</P><P>The solution was to reset all app settings. There's an option to do this on the phone and I presume that your model should have it too.</P><P>The solution was immediate. The downside is that I had to go through my apps one by one and change the notification settings the way that I like them to be.
