Battery Draining on S25 Ultra

S25 Ultra here - Major battery draining issue for the last few weeks. I had no problems with it at first. Who else is having this issue?

My battery life seems to be fine. How much do you use your phone and what do you use it for? Maybe we can compare and see if it really is an issue of hardware/possible defective unit, software, or user issue

Hello, Welcome to the Community. We understand the concern of the battery draining quickly.

Some things that can help with Battery optimization, is the following:

Note: The battery adaptive feature may cause the battery to drain a little faster at first until the phone adapts to your usage, and learns how you're operating, the charge will be stored and used in different manners based on how you use your phone. This sometimes can take a few weeks for it to learn the habits and customize itself to make sure you have the best performance and lasting battery.

Optimize Apps:https://www.samsung.com/us/support/galaxy-battery/optimization/

Be sure the Personal Data Intelligence app (and all apps) is fully updated.

We also recommend clearing the cache partition. To get to recovery mode:
- Turn off phone
- Once off, hold down volume up and power buttons simultaneously
- When Samsung logo appears, release power button BUT KEEP HOLDING VOLUME UP until the recovery menu appears
- Use volume buttons to navigate down to clear cache (NOT CLEAR DATA/ FACTORY RESET)
- Use power button to select.

Battery issue after update

I have s25U. After algorith learned the pattern my battery drain was stopped at night with only 3% getting down with 8 hr sleep.

After update since april 25th 8hr sleep drains 20% battery. Out of no where it fixed for 1 day and drain was back to normal and then it was again 20% at night.

Battery usage graph shows the spikes at night but it dont says which app uses the battery. So i am assuming its system/carrier services draining the battery more.

I would try google carrier services app now and see if that works.

Anyone having same issue ? And still facing it or got it solved ?

Its clear by now since many has this problem still that this post does NOT help. This is standard post but it does not help at all. I have drain still. Many people have it. Its over 2 week. I had it fixed for 1 day and drain started again. Something is not good with new update for sure.

I did work around. Added shortcut for error report on homescreen and did it from there. Then it worked.

Again doesn't help sorry.
As suggested If i have to swith to light profile then why i buy new flagship phones. Whats next ?? Stop using phone to save battery ? Lol. This is ** suggestion. If its really an issue why it was less battery drain before and now after update only its more. ?? Why is the difference. Something is messed up.

Never owned an iphone and think it's time to change. Never wanted to get one but after 2 weeks of battery drainage and no fix on its way or update from Samsung I may have no choice. Seriously how can they force a major release down our throats without thoroughly treating. Anyone know if there's a way to roll back to UI 6 ??

Do this. Put phone on good amount of hrs in airplane mode. For 6 hrs. It worked for me. Dont use it and 6 hrs straight airplane mode. You should be fine

Compromising everything to save the battery

I recently bought Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra paying the $1300 plus tax to experience all the bells and whistles in this phone.i was very happy with features first. But in real life to use this phone i have change all settings like (screen hertz, resolution, deep sleep like social media apps and even performance level to light) to use at least get 4 or 5 hours of screen on time. I really disappointed of my decision so far paid this price to sacrifice the peace of mind about this battery inside this phone. 😪 please do something about it samsung..

Battery Diagnose is normal

My battery hasn't been charging. Now it's getting worse and even fluctuate from 19% to 18% I've ran Samsung diagnostics and it says battery and lightening cable are normal. What could be the problem?
