It might help to tap an area on screen to use for focus and exposure in a low light scene. The maximum optical zoom is 5x on the telephoto, 3x on the super-telephoto but there is no optical zoom on the two wide angle cameras so I now limit the camera app zoom to the lens optical zoom limits because it generally results in the highest resolution frames.
