Apps automatically opening in Split screen on s25 ultra

I've tried all ways I can to stop my s25 ultra to stop opening apps in split screen can anyone tell me if there is another way to stopstop the apps from opening in split screen it's getting annoying

you can go into your settings and disable the "Swipe for split screen" gesture under "Advanced features" > "Multi window

I've done that but it still happens when I open the second app
Eg... I'll have Instagram open and then go open Facebook and automatically split screen even with my settings off

Hello unrulycarlo, Welcome and thank you for being part of the Community. We know it is frustrating when apps open in Split Screen on their own.

We see you checked the settings to make sure "Swipe for split screen" and "Swipe for pop-up view" are both turned off.

When these options are turned off, you can still manually open apps in split screen or pop-up views by dragging and dropping apps from the Edge panel into the Home screen. You can also open your Recent apps, then tap the app's icon, and then select Open in split screen view or Open in pop-up view.

If the apps continue to open in Split Screen, we recommend submitting feedback to Samsung using these steps: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692 This will provide data logs to Samsung developers.

I had this issue since i got it, and i just figured out how to fix it for myself.

Open your edge panel. Click the pencil.

Click the 3 dots.

If you have 'tap' selected, change it to touch and hold.

That option isn't for how you open apps overall- its how you open apps in multiwindow.

So now you can tap apps to open normally, or you can touch and hold to open them in multi window.

That is seriously ridiculous. That issue has been bugging me since I got this phone a week before it's release, but I'm so glad I found this. That fixed it for me!
