S Pen Bluetooth Functionality

I am very sad that the Bluetooth feature was taken off the Spen on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. I used it for pictures regularly, please bring back this feature! This is why I absolutely hated the Z Fold 6 because I couldn't use the SPEN other than to take notes when the phone was opened. You can't make a beautiful device with diverse functionality and limit yourself, that is not why I get a Samsung device. I get it for the advanced features and experience.

They did a study and the study showed it wasn't used that often so they removed it

Sorry but that feature can’t be added back to the S25U since they removed the hardware required for it to work maybe in the S26U

This is correct. The hardware inside the phone is missing that pairs the spen with the phone. It really comes down to personal preference on the matter. I don't miss it actually

No they will not be a Bluetooth Version of the S-pen for the S25 Ultra that rumor has already been confirmed to be false.

Correct the hardware was removed so its not possible on the S25U maybe they will add it back on the S26U

The personal preference of most people that buy the ultra versions including myself, are to have the full functioning features of the hardware that we have grown to love and use. Why spend the extra money for top of the line, if you are not getting top of the line features? I love the usefulness of the Bluetooth S pen especially when taking pictures! If they don't bring this feature back, I have no reason to buy Ultras any longer.

Not very happy to find out that the s pen doesn't come with Bluetooth and you can no longer control your phone with the air action. And you can't buy one with Bluetooth enabled and Samsung isn't gonna make one in the future for the s25. What's the point of an s pen now? So far the phone is ok. When I compared the s25 to my old s23, my s23 was way better in almost every aspect. The only reason I upgraded was because it was a free phone. I'm kinda regretting it now. I hope samsung does better soon.

And now the Galaxy Fold came with no S Pen support. Probably next year they will get rid of the S Pen.
It's sad to see Samsung going that way.

Where have you been? Most everyone who has an spen uses it. Thousands of users complained on here, reddit, x, xda and Facebook was cluttered with posts about it. Especially when the s25 was launched. 🖖🏻
