S25 FE or s24 base model

Hey everyone! Which do you think is the better choice? the S25 FE or the base S24? Right now in my country they’re the same price, both with the same processor and 256 GB storage.

I currently use a Galaxy A55 and am happy with its performance, but I’m looking to upgrade for features like Samsung DEX and wireless charging.

I mainly use social media apps and want DEX for my work, so what do you think is the right pick?

I'll be honest I haven't looked at either one of those, the only one I have my sites set on is the S24 Ultra. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Definitely the S25 FE (Which I own). Great Phone!! Will have longer support because it comes with One UI 8.

S24 for the win. I run a S25U, but the S24 is about the same for cheaper. I would say steer clear of FE stuff, but, the UI8 update for my Watch FE totally upgraded the whole thing. But, to choose? No FE. Have fun!

You mention the phrase "in my country." This forum is primarily for US users, and your geographical location may change the calculus in your decision, such as what chipset is in the base S24 in your region. Find your region's forum: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite/

That said, the biggest differences would be form factor and chipset.

If the S24 uses Snapdragon 8 gen 3 in your region: Qualcomm is typically the more desirable chipset. However, if you are currently satisfied with your A series device, the Exynos in the S25FE will be just fine for you.

If the S24 uses Exynos in your region, the S25FE uses a comparable chipset.

Unless a smaller form factor is an absolute must, I would personally opt for the FE for the larger battery capacity, faster charging speeds, and longer software support.

The S25 FE 256GB model is on sale for $560. If you have a device to trade in, it's even better. Plus it has a 4900mAh battery, that is more than the S24 base model.

They also have the 128GB model for $500. In the end, it's really what one wants in a smartphone.

I have and will stay with S24U
