Five days ago I upgraded my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra to a Galaxy S25 Ultra. I used Smart Switch thinking EVERYTHING would transfer including app notifications. Wrong! After four days of hair pulling and research, I put together the following procedure that worked the first time I tried it. I hope this helps!

To reset to app provided sound notifications on a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra,

Settings > Apps, tap the three-dot menu (top right), and select Reset app preferences.
Sounds like you downgraded to me. The note 20 Ultra is by far the better phone.

I agree. However the antenna was defective and the screen started getting green spots. It was not receiving some calls and dropping calls as well. The last update was Android 13 and no more planned. I'm happy the 25 so far.
