Trouble Receiving Group Text Messages with my S25

I'm having trouble receiving messages in text groups from some group members. Some of them have taken days to download. I can see responses in the group by other members, but I can't see the original message. These messages come from some android devices and others come from iOS devices.

My default message app has been Google Messages. I switched to Samsung Messages. I still have the same problem. I have closed and reopened. I have restarted my phone. Nothing seems to resolve the problem.

Hello @userAT3i2Km2fQ, thank you for reaching out to the Community we are glad that you reached out with your issue. I understand how frustrating it can be when you are having issues with group text.
I have listed a few troubleshooting steps for you to try that may help you.

1. Ensure that your Mobile Data is on, not just the Wi-Fi, and check that "Group messaging" is enabled within your apps settings.
2. You also want to clear the Cache. In order to do this go to Settings > Apps > Google Messages > Storage > Clear Cache.
3. Try to reset the Network Settings navigate to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings.
4. If using AT&T, ensure RCS is activated; otherwise, consider turning off RCS in Google Messages to test if that resolves the issue.

I am reporting back to let everyone know my progress. Thank you to all that responded with possible solutions.

Surprisingly, none of the suggestions above were doing to resolve the issue. I have, by trial and error, found an action that has been working reliably to cause the messages that would not download to the text groups to finally be received.

If I turn off my cellular data while connected to my Wi-Fi, the messages then load immediately. Then I turn my cellular data back on and everything works fine until the next group text comes in and fails to download. Individual text sent directly to me are not a problem at all.

Sad that Samsung a tech company can't resolve this issue. All S25's need to be recalled until this is resolved. My manager has to screenshot group text and send them to me individually. Where's the carrier support with this issue. I would pull all Samsung phones from the shelves.

I'm not convinced that this is a Samsung problem. It may indeed be a carrier problem.

Another friend reported the same issue. He tells me that he has an iPhone, not a Samsung. We are on the same carrier. His service is direct, my service is through am MVNO that uses that carrier.

Same issue here also. Since february sixteen, software update it stopped working.

This actually started for me about 2 months ago on my S23 and has continued on my new S25 that I got through insurance. It's not a phone issue, it's an issue with the app itself.

Go to the Thread called "Carrier is ATT" . I had the same issue and it is solved for me. Basically, it is an incorrect APN setting and having to use Google Messages with RCS turned on. That solved the issues.

I have spent over 12 hours working with ATT support on the store, online and on the phone. I took it to Asurion. Nobody can't fix it. ATT now told me that it is a Samsung network problem. That Samsung needs to update their network and that will resolve the issue.

I have the same issue on my S25+. Tried all the setting remedies and nothing worked. Went to AT&T and was told it was definitely a Samsung issue. Please fix this. I got 10 messages that all started to finally download one by one, at 2:00 am until 2:30, pinging me with every download. I finally turned off notifications but can't do that forever given i want my kids to reach me in an emergency. Samsung, please fix this.

Our carrier says it's a Samsung issue 100%.
