Single Ring

<SPAN>Why not let me choose how many times I want my phone to reing? I am astonished that with the advanced state of mobile technology today I can't even set my default ringtone to ring once, much less set rings for certain users individually to ring more than once. At best I can set the duration of all rings to a set time limit by using some convoluted code or contacting my mobile provider and having them do it! I used to be a Desktop Support Technician and yes, I did write a few scripts, but to be honest it drove me up a wall! Imagine how someone who is not technologically inclined must feel when told that they are expected to do the developers job. I was never a software developer, and now that I'm retired the last thing I want to do is spend my time looking for workarounds for software that doesn't work the way I was led to believe it should. Considering the sophisticated, complex software that you develope every day, for which I am eternally greatfull, is it really so difficult to do something so obvious?</SPAN>

Ring duration is set by your mobile carrier in length of time, which everyone interprets as number of rings. If you want to change it, you'll have to contact them.

I do. And with all the user posts and responses in this community, I'm still baffled as to why anyone thinks Samsung developers monitor these boards.
